Nancy A. Lauderback, 77, of Cheyenne passed away December 18, 2017 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1940 in Lander, WY to Jasper Newton and Mildred Laverne Israel. She married Harold E. Rumsey on August 27, 1961 in Laramie. She later married Donald Lauderback on July 30, 1986 in Vernal, UT. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a teacher's coach of the Reading Recovery Program. She was a proud graduate of the University of Wyoming and also received a Master's degree from Lesley College in Language Arts. She was of Christian faith and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, National Education Association, and the Order of Eastern Star. She loved to cook, garden, quilt, sew and spend time with her family members. She is survived by her children, Robin (Frank) Roling of Cheyenne, Alan (Mary) Rumsey of Denver and Misty (Troy) Ford of Gig Harbor, WA; grandchildren, Laramie (Dylon) Eckerdt, Sheridan Roling, Jackson Roling, Hudson Roling, Jessica Brotherson, Jack Rumsey, Samantha Ford, Danielle Rumsey, Ryan Rumsey and Matthew Rumsey; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Mollie Eckerdt; sister and best friend, Glenda Mahaffey of Scottsdale, AZ; and her former husband Harold E. Rumsey of Boise, ID She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a son, Philip J. Rumsey. Those who wish may contribute to the Laramie County Library for children's books. Services will be announced this summer. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
