Nancy Treadway

Nancy Brown Treadway, 89, of Cheyenne, died April 5, 2018 at Life Care Center of Cheyenne. She was born September 9, 1928, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Grace and Tandy Brown. She married Robert Treadway in April 1948 in Cheyenne. She retired from Laramie County Elections and had also worked for the Wyoming Girl Scout Council and owned a catering business with her sister, Leah Shriver. However, most important to her was her position as wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by her children, Matthew Treadway of Cheyenne; Mary Treadway Mauderer of Fort Worth, TX and two grandchildren, Tallon and Micah Mauderer; and brother, Mike Brown of Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 15 siblings. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels. A memory service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home followed by a reception in the Schrader Reception Center.
