Nathan O'Grady

Nathan O'Grady, 42, of Cheyenne passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2019 Nathan was born April 2, 1976 to Pat and Theresa O'Grady. He had a rough start to life the first few months and was eventually diagnosed with Prader Willi Syndrome. Despite the many obstacles Prader Willi presented, Nathan's parents did everything possible to ensure Nathan would have a longer than expected life. Nathan took pleasure from the small things- family get togethers, going to prom, graduating from East High School, dressing up for Halloween and going out for dinner and a movie. An occasional gambling trip was always great fun, especially when he could talk Uncle Mike into paying for it. Nathan is survived by his father, Pat O'Grady; brother, Branden; nephew, Shawn; grandmother, Trish Meares; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded by his mother, Theresa; grandparents, Tim O'Grady, Carol O'Grady and Steve Meares. Nathan was an inspiration to his family and friends and will be sorely missed. Those who wish, may contribute to Stride Learning Center Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cheyenne Hills Church.
