Nicholas McKinney

Nicholas Thomas McKinney, 29, beloved friend, of Cheyenne passed away June 7, 2021 at his home.

Nick was born November 2, 1991 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to Gail Moyer and Thomas McKinney, he was preceded in death by his mother Gail.

Nick is survived by his grandfather, Thomas McKinney Sr., his self-adopted family and countless friends, who will miss his wittiness and his love for them every day.

Nicholas worked as a Sous Chef.  When he first moved to Wyoming he noted it was one of the most beautiful places he has been. Nick had dreams of traveling the whole country to see all of its beauty.

Nick loved to cook and joke around. He would go to a local place with friends, every Monday, to play guitar hero. He loved to have a good time with his close friends. He loved to rough house, wrestle, he listened to heavy metal but he also liked boy bands.  He was devoted to everyone in his life and he cared about their well-being and safety. The saying at his home with his roommates was “homies help homies, always”. He also liked Norse culture and myths and online gaming with his friends near and far.

Private memorial services will be held by his friends.
