Ninfa A. Uricchio, 86, of Cheyenne died January 12, 2011 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1924 in Cheyenne to John and Georgina A. Dipoma. She married Salvatore “Sam” Uricchio on September 6, 1945 in Cheyenne. She was a secretary for the Cheyenne Public Schools and also owned Rich Dairy. She is a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral, Eagles Lodge and National Mahjongg Association. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Moore of Cheyenne; son, Patrick Uricchio of Cheyenne; sister, Camille Hornstein of Maryland; niece, Jane Hornstein of District of Columbia; nephews, Roy and Mark Hornstein of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Uricchio; brother, Patrick Dipoma and her parents, John Dipoma and Georgina Catalano. Visitation will be Friday 9:00 a.m. until the Vigil for the Deceased at 7:00 p.m. in Schrader Chapel. A Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father Gary Ruzicka officiating. Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
