Norma Elaine Morton, 61, passed away on March 20, 2011, in Cheyenne. She was born on November 13, 1949, in Cheyenne. She is survived by her husband, Garry; her daughter, Laura (Jason); her son Tim (Shelley) all of Cheyenne; her six grandchildren who she had the most wonderful bond with: Tarah Morton, Tesla Morton, Courtney Duff, Sage Morton, Kyle Morton and Bailey Earley; her aunt and uncle, Don and Bev Breazeale; as well as many nephews and nieces. She worked at Qwest as an analytical associate. She retired from there after dedicating 30 years. She attended New Testament Christian Church. She was a country girl at heart. She was in the Foxy Trotter horse riding group. She enjoyed riding her horse in the parade during Cheyenne Frontier Days and she was so compassionate with animals. She loved camping and spending time with her family and she had a special place in her heart for her grandkids. She was a very thoughtful and giving person. Her family admired her courage and strength. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Oscar Brown; and a sister, Nila Grimm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Schrader Chapel with Pastor G. L. Freeman officiating.
