Mr. Oscar A. Johnson, Jr., 81, of Hillsdale, Wyoming, passed away Monday, July 5, 2011, at his home in Hillsdale. Mr. Johnson was born November 26, 1929, in Reno, Nevada, a son of the late Oscar and Effie Mae (Stillwell) Johnson, Sr. Oscar served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked most recently as a front-end mechanic for the fleet maintenance division of the City of Cheyenne. For the past 15 years, he farmed his own land growing alfalfa. He is survived by four children, Diane Goodman, Karen Figolah, James Johnson and Robert Johnson; a sister, Maryann Brown and Oreen Scott; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Oscar is preceded in death by his parents; foster-parents, Joyce and Grace Dreamer; three sisters; and four brothers. His family will hold a reception celebrating his memory at a later date.
