Mr. Oscar F. Sosa, Jr., 64, of Wheatland, Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sosa was born June 23, 1947, in Harlingen, Texas. Oscar served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1971-74. He worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for more than 30 years. His greatest passion was singing and entertaining as an Elvis Tribute Artist. He was extremely talented and he recorded numerous songs. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Sosa of Wheatland, WY; his daughter, Stephanie Garcia and husband, Ron, of Cheyenne; his son, Steven Sosa of Cheyenne; his mother, Lila Torres of Brownsville, TX; two brothers, Noah Sosa and Jay Sosa, both of Brownsville, TX; his sister, Mimi Sosa of Brownsville, TX; four grandchildren, Crystal Garcia, Alissa Garcia, Cody Garcia and Brayden Sosa; and one great-granddaughter, Alisia Garcia. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will follow on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery.
