Owen Harding

Owen G. Harding, 82, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at his home Thursday, September 28, 2017. Owen was born September 18, 1935, in Cheyenne, son of the late Elvy W. and Martha E. (Hunt) Harding. Owen was a graduate of the University of Wyoming. He married Jean L. Caster on July 14, 1957. He worked for the family ranch and ultimately became senior partner for Harding & Kirkbride Land & Cattle Company. His interests included hunting and he was a member of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association. Owen is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jean Harding of Cheyenne; daughter, Vicki Kennedy and husband, Scott, of Evans, CO; son, Jerry Harding and wife, Wendy, of Meriden, WY; four grandsons, Clay Kennedy, Trent Kennedy, Kiel Harding and Jerrod Harding; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, George O. Harding. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a memory service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. An interment service will be held at Beth El Cemetery.
