Patricia L. Hoog Allerheiligen, 76, of Pine Bluffs, WY passed away May 25, 2012, in Cheyenne. Pat was born June 10, 1935 in Wellington, CO to Ronald and Emma (Jones) Hoog. She attended schools in Fort Collins, Seattle, and Greeley. She graduated from Greeley High in 1953. She was a descendent of Colorado pioneers. Pat was a talented artist and specialized in Native American art and oil painting. She was Artist of the Year for Yellowstone County Montana. She worked at a variety of jobs as she raised her four children by herself. She was a telephone operator in LaSalle, a sign painter in Greeley. She graduated from the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy. Pat was the first woman police officer in Dillon, Colorado. She retired from Kodak Colorado where she was a security officer for 8 years. Pat married her soul mate, Marvin Allerheiligen, in Las Vegas on December 4, 1987. They made a home together in Loveland, CO where they boarded horses and enjoyed their life together. In 2004, they retired to Pine Bluffs, WY, where they enjoyed a great community with wonderful friends. Pat loved and was very proud of her children she raised and her children she acquired in marriage: Danny McGuire of Baudette MN, Therese Aldrich of Tower MN, Kathleen McGuire of Billings MT, Michael McGuire of Seattle WA, Julie (Ken) Ray of Loveland CO, Janet Allerheiligen of Estes Park CO, Jeanie (Jeff) York of Milliken CO, and Mike Allerheiligen also of Milliken CO. Pat adored all of her Grandchildren: Kaitlyn , Danny and Ryan Stryjewski, Mason, Melanie, and Amber Aldrich, Kenneth McGuire, Eric, Kelly, and Natalie Ray, Emily Allerheiligen, Lindsey York, McKayla (Estevan) Olivas, C.J. York, Alexandria Allerheiligen, and Wyatt Allerheiligen Pat was tickled pink by her five Great Grandchildren, Hannah Aldrich, Thomas Aldrich, Hunter Ray, Kayd Olivas, and Princess Ailey Stryjewski She is also survived by her loving sister Shirley Brostrom of Greeley, nephews Mark (Maribeth) Scaggs and Scott Scaggs, great nephews Beau and Cord Scaggs. Sisters-in-law LaVonne (Dale) Cook and Karen (Chuck)Thomas. Family services will be held in the mountains near Dillon in the fall when the Aspen leaves turn, Pat's favorite time of the year.
