Patricia Petersen

Mrs. Patricia A. "Pat" (Stokes) Petersen, 62, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Petersen was born May 27, 1952, in Paris, France, a daughter of the late Junior and Helen Stokes. Nothing gave Pat more pleasure than spending time with her family. Her many interests included gardening and growing sunflowers. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pat is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Petersen of Cheyenne; three sons, Jerome Petersen of Denver, CO, Nicholas Petersen of Lancaster, CA, and Paul Petersen of Los Angeles, CA; a sister, Michelle Mattera of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Florence Stokes. Services will be held in Omaha, Nebraska, at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
