Paulo Padilla

Paulo Padilla, 83, of Cheyenne passed away April 21, 2017 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was born august 9, 1933 in San Antonito, NM to Ricardo and Josefa Padilla. He married Peggy Owens on August 19, 1957 in Des Moines, IA. He retired from the US Air Force as Superintendent of Administration and continued working on base in a civil service capacity. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral. He is survived by his children, Patrick (Suzie) Padilla of Kingsport, TN, Kevin (Cecilia) Padilla of Omaha, NE, Kathleen Barrett (Bob Fida) of Cheyenne; Desiree (Jondan) McBride of Lender, TX, Damon Padilla (Ashley Jarrell) of Gainesville, GA and Darin (Jessica) Padilla of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Colleen Barrett, Nolan Padilla, Owen Grella, Aaron Grella, Reed (Marissa) Barrett , Tenia Padilla, Tonya (Tyler) Cloyd, Kendall Padilla and Elyse Padilla; great-grandchildren, Gracie Cloyd and Nicholas Cloyd; sister, Della Ortiz of Bullhead City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife Peggy Padilla, parents and siblings, Richard Padilla, Ralph Padilla, Johnny Padilla, Collie Baca and Betty White and a son-in-law, Joseph Barrett. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil for the Deceased at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A Funeral Liturgy will be Wednesday 2:00 p.m. in St Mary's Cathedral followed with interment in Olivet Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in Paulo's memory to Meals on Wheels
