Paz Aragon

Paz Aragon, 90, of Cheyenne died March 17, 2014 at Lifecare Center. She was born August 2, 1923 in Ledoux, NM to Filio and Albinita Vigil. She married Desiderio Aragon. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Alter & Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. Her hobbies included bingo, traveling to Blackhawk and Las Vegas and cooking. She is survived by her children, Amelia (Jimmy) Valdez, Corine (Stan) Rognon, Annie (Calvin) Long, Trish (Dale) Thoen and Mike (Nancy) Aragon all of Cheyenne, 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Desiderio Aragon; parents, Filio and Albinita Vigil; children, Irene and Corrine; brothers, Bernabe Vigil and Antonio Vigil and sisters, Rosel Trujillo and Viola Romero, and her beloved puppy, Sister. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Comea Shelter. Pallbearers will be Michael Aragon, Jr., Brian Rognon, Jimmy Valdez, Jr., Jason Long, Jeremy Long and Jesse Chavez. Visitation is Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. A Vigil for the Deceased will be 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Schrader Chapel. Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery. Services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
