Mrs. Pearl I. Estes, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the Davis Hospice Center. Mrs. Estes was born December 26, 1921, in Sedgwick, Colorado, a daughter of the late George Loyd and Susan (Hoover) Dunlap. Pearl worked as a cataloger at the University of Wyoming Library in the Archives Department for more than 30 years. She was an active member of the North Christian Church in Cheyenne and previously of the First Christian Church in Laramie. She was also enjoyed attending the reunions for her late husband's World War II combat unit. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a generous and kind caregiver. Pearl is survived by her son, Dennis L. Estes of Cheyenne; a sister, Donna Pease of California; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Leslie E. Estes; and five brothers and sisters. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
