Pearline Dodd

Mrs. Pearline (Gaddy) Dodd, 80, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014, at her daughter's home. Mrs. Dodd was born August 6, 1934, in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Thad H. and Ellen (Bingham) Gaddy. Pearline worked as a clerk for Goodwill Industries until her retirement. She was avery active member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, and she was especially proud of the fact that she received her Associates Degree in Theology. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Pearline is survived by daughter, Glenda Dilbeck; son, Brian R. Dodd of Scranton, PA; siblings, Richard Gaddy, Elouise Freeman, Margie Wallace, Joe Gaddy, John Gaddy, Rosemary Miller and Christopher Gaddy; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer F. Dodd; and a brother, James Gaddy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Ave. A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13th at 3:00 p.m. at Cheyenne's Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Rossi officiating. An interment service will follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
