Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church in Cheyenne with Pastor Jon Laughlin officiating. Interment of his urn will be held in Imperial, NE. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Ralph E. Spradlin, 87, of Cheyenne formerly of Imperial, Nebraska died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Lifecare Center of Cheyenne. He was born December 24, 1922 in Metaline Falls, Washington to Edward and Alice (Carver) Spradlin. He married Mary Ann Dettman on July 30, 1950 in Imperial Nebraska. He was a sales representative for John Deere, and served in the US Army. He is a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the Masonic Purity Lodge #198 A.F. & A.M. of Imperial, Order of Easter Star in Imperial, Tehoma (Shrine) Temple A.A.O.N.M.S of Hastings, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J. USA. He is survived by his children, Kevin Spradlin of Clarkston, Wash., Carolyn Sue Sorenson of Greeley, Colo., Thomas W. Spradlin of Ft. Collins, CO and Craig Spradlin of Cheyenne; Brothers, Robert Wayne Spradlin of Denver, CO and Roy Spradlin of Denver; ten grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Spradlin; his parents, Edward and Alice Spradlin; sisters, Helen Morris and Sarah Mullenax; and a brother, Leo Spradlin.
