Ramon Ruiz

Ramon M. Ruiz, 85, of Cheyenne died January 6, 2015 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born November 2, 1929 in Canutillo, TX to Joaquin and Francisca Ruiz. A Korean War Veteran, he was a Marine for 9 years and a sheet metal operator in Los Angeles, CA. He was an avid bingo and scratch off lotto player and loved being with his family and pets. He was an honorable man and gentleman who was a great provider for his children and family. He is survived by his sons, Terry (Kelly) Ruiz, Ray (Jill) Ruiz, Russell Ruiz, Randy Ruiz all of Cheyenne; daughters, Renee Meisl of Woburn, MA, Cindy Trujillo of Cheyenne, Karen Ruiz of Fresno, CA and Annette Nelson of Cheyenne; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joaquin "Jack" Ruiz. Memory Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader Funeral Home with a reception to follow in the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation has taken place.
