Mr. Raoul G. Cisneros, 83, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away into the light of our Lord on Friday, February 17, 2012, at the Davis Hospice Center following a brief bout with cancer. Mr. Cisneros was born December 20, 1928, in Cheyenne, a son of the late Pedro and Belen (Gonzalez) Cisneros. Raoul served in the United States Navy and following his honorable discharge, he continued to serve the community and our country while working as a civil servant. Raoul is survived by his loving wife, Rita (Salaz) Cisneros of Cheyenne; two sons, Raoul Cisneros, Jr. and Mark Cisneros; his sister, Aurora Nava; two granddaughters, Summer Iversen and Chanel Aguilar; and the light of his life, his grandchildren, Kane, Kamron, Kaden, Keegan, Kade, Ariana and Ariel. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Cyd Marie Cisneros Iversen. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with Father Ray Moss officiating. A Funeral Liturgy with Military Honors will be celebrated on Friday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ray Moss as celebrant. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
