Mr. Raymond F. McKelvey, Jr., 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at his home on Friday, March 13, 2015. Mr. McKelvey was born August 14, 1946, in Erie, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Raymond F. and Louise (Teribery) McKelvey, Sr. Raymond served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1966-72. He worked as a quality control machinist and lived most of his life in Northern California until he retired to Cheyenne. He loved his dogs, fishing, the ocean, collecting movies, ships and lighthouses. He enjoyed time with his family and meeting new people. Raymond is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Bulman and husband, Paul, and Kim Martinez; ten grandchildren, Rebecca, Tavia, Nicholas, Damian, Brandon, George and wife, Ashley, Joey, Anthony, Daniel and Izzy; eight great-grandchildren, Declynn, Malia, Koa, Evelyn, Kyliee, Kaleb, Jason and Alexa; three siblings, Helen, Sharon and husband, Bob, and Kirk; nephews, John, Vince and Brian; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Judith McKelvey; a brother, Leonard; and a sister, Susan. The family will hold an interment service with military honors on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
