Raymond "Ray" A. Mock, 69, of Cheyenne died October 25, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care. He was born September 2, 1943 in Jeannette, PA to Jesse W. and Catherine Mock . He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad in 2008 as a conductor. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He married Roberta Valdez on August 19, 1980 in Cheyenne. He is a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and was an avid reader of the Holy Bible. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Mock of Cheyenne; children, Vanessa Stuart of Laramie, Jeffery Mock of Sheridan, WY, Chad Hernandez of Cheyenne and Marc Hernandez of Ogden, UT; brothers, Ed Mock of Penn Township, PA and Jesse D. Mock of Cheyenne; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse W. and Catherine Mock and a sister, Shirley Sistek. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. A Vigil for the Deceased will be 10:00 a.m. Monday followed by the Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. all at St. Mary's Cathedral. Cremation will follow under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
