Raymond Schmidt

Raymond G. Schmidt, 84, of Cheyenne died April 18, 2012 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1927 in Tulsa OK. He married Lois H. Ray on June 22, 1957 in Rawlins, WY. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. He retired from Leap Weatherization. He is survived by his wife, Lois Schmidt of Cheyenne; children Jimmy Maestas of Rock Springs, WY, Daniel Schmidt of David City, NE, Tammy Schmidt of Cheyenne, Merry Schmidt of Cheyenne, Sammy Schmidt of Cheyenne and Jack Schmidt of Cheyenne; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded by a daughter, Sandra Schmidt; parents, Henry and Dorothy Schmidt; brothers, Henry Schmidt, Frank Schmidt, Joe Schmidt and George Schmidt; 2 grandchildren, Ann Marie Schmidt and Jay Michael Schmidt. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army Church. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader Funeral Home and online condolences may be made at www.schraderfuneral.com. Donations may be made in Raymond's name in care of Schrader Funeral Home, 2323 Carey Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001.
