Richard Chapman

Memorial services will be 10:00 Friday, July 30, 2010 at Schrader Chapel with Pastor Roger W. Rapp officiating. Richard D.(Dick) Chapman, 78, of Cheyenne passed away on July 26, 2010. He was born July 20, 1932 in Fort Collins, Colorado, the son of Edward M. and Eva Lena (Widdows) Chapman. He married Chris Glowna in Germany. As a young man, he served in the Marine Corps and later retired from the U.S. Government where he worked in ordinance disposal as a civilian for 36 years. He is survived by his brother, Edward Lee Chapman of Cheyenne; his stepson, Andreas Glowna and step-grandchild of Contwig Germany and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his loving wife, Chris Glowna; his sisters, Shirley Easter and Doris Koenig and a brother, James Chapman. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory.
