Richard Alan Hirsch, age 62 of Cheyenne, WY died November 26, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 31, 1959 in Cheyenne. Richard graduated from East High School and the University of Wyoming, with a B.A. in Theater and Dance and a Minor in History. His love of the theater never diminished and he was an active entertainer until his last days. He appeared in numerous stage productions, small films and ads in Colorado, Missouri, Kansas and Wyoming, and toured national in 101 Dalmatians. His real passion was for the Cheyenne Little Theater; acting, volunteering, and organizing shows like the Frontier Days Melodrama and Zombie Fest. He was also a member of the Independent Film Makers Coalition of Kansas City when he lived there. During his time living there, he was still active locally in Cheyenne, performing with his best friend, Rory Mack as “Two Guys with Bowties.”
He is survived by brothers David (Lee) Hirsch of Aurora, Colorado, Roger (Mary Ann) Hirsch of Lincoln, NE, and sister Beverly (Douglas) Morrow of Springfield, OR, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Grace Hirsch.
Cremation has been selected, and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
