Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 24th at Schrader Chapel. Richard D. Miller of Granite Canon, Wyoming passed away on May 18, 2010 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Richard Daniel Miller was born on December 30, 1929 in Arcola, Wyoming the son of Henry and Dorie Miller. He served in the U.S. Army and married Merita Leona Hood on November 10, 1956 in Wheatridge, Colorado. R ichard is survived by his wife, Merita Miller of Granite Canon, WY; his son, Byron Miller of Granite Canon, WY; his daughter, Brenette (Vincent) Medina of Rigby, ID; his brothers, Henry Miller of Carpenter, WY and Milton Miller of Red Bluff, CA; his sisters, Darlene Byers of Hanna, WY, Barbara Wilkinson of Rock River, WY, Dorann Hall of Crossville, TN and Colleen Johnson of Carpenter, WY. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Byron Miller Jr., Kyle Miller, Kelsey Wood, Chad Medina, Brieaunna Medina and Kailee Medina and 1 great grandchild, Ezekiel Wood. Richard is preceded by his parents, Henry and Dorie Miller; a son, Bret Miller and a daughter, Brenda Miller. Pallbearers will be Kyle Miller, Byron Miller, Chad Medina, William Wood, Shawna Gessner and Robert Gessner. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Honor Guard.
