Richard Stockdale

Richard G. Stockdale, 69, of Cheyenne died November 17, 2013 in Cheyenne. He was born April 17, 1944 in Waterloo, IA to Louis and Marlis Stockdale. He served with dinsctinction for over 30 years at the State Engineer's Office culminating as Deputy State Engineer prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Wyoming Waterwell Licensing Board, and an avid outdoorsman and hunter. He is survived by his sons, Gary Stockdale of Colorado Springs, CO and David Stockdale of Cheyenne; brothers, Larry Stockdale of Cheyenne, John Stockdale of Cheyenne, Ray Stockdale of Humboldt, IA and David Stockdale of Humboldt, IA; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Schrader Chapel. A private interment of his urn will be held at Mountain View Memorial Park. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home. Those who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Boys and Girls Club.
