Richard Yurek

Richard Yurek, 81, of Cheyenne died April 7, 2011 at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital. He was born December 28, 1929 in Middle River, Maryland to James S. and Margaret E. Yurek. He married Lillian M. Young on September 2, 1951 in Cheyenne. He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Lillian M. Yurek ; his daughter, Diane Yurek; son Wayne (Christie) Yurek; grandchildren, Christopher Horner, Kendra Yurek, Nicole Yurek and Logan Yurek; great-grandchildren, Gaberiel Yurek and Chance Horner all of Cheyenne; sisters, Alice Stiles of New York City, NY and Margaret Ross of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Yurek. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Schrader Chapel with Thad Brown officiating.
