Rita Mary Cisneros, 78, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away February 15, 2016, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Rita was born July 18, 1937, in Torrington, Wyoming, a daughter of the late Lupe and Margaret (Marquez) Salaz. Rita worked as a waitress for the Owl Inn, Little America and most recently for Los Amigos. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed watching horror movies. She also enjoyed caring for all animals and feeding the neighborhood squirrels. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Rita is survived by two sons, Raoul and Mark Cisneros, both of Cheyenne; three brothers, Lupe Salaz of Arizona, Steve Salaz of Texas, and David Salaz of Douglas, WY; sister, Liz Salaz of Douglas, WY; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Raoul G. Cisneros; a daughter, Cyd Cisneros; and a brother, Vincent Salaz. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 19th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
