Funeral Services will be Thursday 9:00 a.m. at Schrader Chapel with Pastor Roger Rapp officiating. Cremation will follow at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Visitation will be held Wednesday 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schrader Funeral Home. Robert A. Alexander of Cheyenne died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born October 28, 1948 in Monticello, IL to Fred and Edith Alexander. He married Peggy S. Garrett on December 27, 1969 in Arcola, IL. They later divorced. He was a senior environmental analyst with The State of Wyoming, after retiring from the United States Air Force. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Wild Turkey Federation, Masonic Temple and the Cheyenne Botanic Community Garden. He is survived by his former wife of Springfield, MO; sons and daughters-in-law, Ty G. & Heather Alexander of Springfield, MO and Jeremy and Marci Alexander of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Trey A., Paige T. and Gavin M. Alexander all of Springfield, MO; mother, Edith L. Bruns-Alexander of Arthur, IL; brother, Gerald V. Alexander of Tuscola, Illinois; and companion,Victoria Baker of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Alexander; brothers, Larry W. and Ronald F. Alexander. Those who wish may contribute the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
