Robert Conner

Robert E. "Bob" Conner, 89, of Cheyenne died October 29, 2017 in Denver. He was born May 15, 1928 in Guernsey, WY to Charles H. and Josephine H. (Frederick) Conner. Bob was raised and educated in Sunrise, WY, graduating in 1946. He served in the US Navy 1948-1952. He worked at the Sunrise Mine for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He is survived by his wife Guin; three daughters, Ann Conner, Kathy (Ed) Troupe and Nancy (Bobbie) Nail; grandchildren, Tori Troupe, Nolan Troupe, Anna Troupe, Nicolina Troupe, Jenna Troupe Gorzalka and Matthew Nail; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary McBrier. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Conner, Jr. and sisters, Pearl Jones and Margaret Conner. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in Hartville Cemetery.
