Bob Evans, 79, of Cheyenne, died on May 7, 2015, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Bob was born to Thelma and Victor Evans in Topeka, Kansas, on January 12, l936. He grew up and attended schools in Iola, Kansas, graduated from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, in l959 with a Geology degree. Bob and Alice met at college and married on August 24, l957. He spent two years in the Army with one in Korea. He worked as a stocker, assistant manager, and manager for Safeway Stores, for 37 years in Cheyenne, Newcastle, and Rawlins. He retired in l997 and enjoyed fishing, traveling, cooking and gardening. His favorite fishing holes were Seminole Lake and the Kenai River. He was active in the First Christian Church and cooked for the Comea Center once a month. He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughters, Vicki Jo Siter of Soldotna, Alaska, and Alisa Elaine Casey of Park City, Utah; sister, Marilyn Harclerode of Northglenn, Colorado; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on 1:30 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church. Contribution may be made to First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 2l9 West 27th, Cheyenne, WY 8200l.
