Robert (Bob) L. Frager, 89, of Cheyenne died January 30, 2011 at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. Born May 21, 1921 in Blackwell, OK, the youngest of five children born to Delbert L. and Minnie Lou (Crume) Frager. He enlisted with the U.S. Navy and served as a Medical Corpsman for the Marines 2nd Division 8th Brigade in the South Pacific during World War II. He was married to Emma Mae Leeper on March 21, 1944. After being honorably discharged in 1946, he attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s School of Pharmacy. He founded the Medical Group Pharmacy in Greeley, CO and practiced as a pharmacist for his entire professional career. He was an accomplished musician and played the tuba for several bands. As an avid lover of dogs he also donated countless hours to the humane society in Greeley, CO and the animal shelter in Cheyenne, WY. In 1998 he and his wife Emma moved to Cheyenne, WY to retire and be closer with their daughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Emma Mae of Cheyenne, WY, one daughter; Dee Anne (Phil) Perlewitz of Billings, MT, two grandsons; David Matthew Swift of Cheyenne, WY and Robert Neal Swift of Denver, CO and several nieces and nephews. He will be buried at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. There will be a private family service at a later date.
