Robert Jenkins

Robert H. Jenkins, 88, of Cheyenne passed away December 29, 2017 at Davis Hospice Center. He was born March 20, 1920 in Bangor Maine to John and Jennie Jenkins. He married Phyllis Chapel on April 27, 1951 in Denver, CO. He was retired from the US Air Force, serving as a firefighter. He was a member of First Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jenkins of Cheyenne; children, John Jenkins of Arlington, VA, Vicki Denmon of Phoenix, AZ, Linda Jenkins of Denver, CO and Lisa Jenkins of Denver; grandchildren, Luke Denmon, Robbie Jenkins and Kristie Aukee; brother, Jim Jenkins of McCook, NE; cousin, Clayton Rogers of Brewer, Maine and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those who wish may contribute to Davis Hospice Center. Graveside services will be noon Friday, January 12, 2017 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are to line up in Staging Area A. Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
