Robert Francis "Fran" Ross, 69, of Cheyenne passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2018 while having a stroll with his wife in Lion's Park. He was born February 5, 1949 in Logan, WV to Robert and Mary Ross. He married Lana Crader on September 10, 1988 in Cheyenne. He had retired from the US Air Force and was an Environmental Health Engineer for the State of Wyoming. He was a Christian and a member of the American Legion Post #6, VF.W. 1881 and was an Eagle Scout at the age of 13. He is survived by his wife, Lana of Cheyenne; children, Janel (Patrick) Flynn of Cheyenne and DJ Ross (Heather Harrison) of Denver; granddaughter, Makana Ross; siblings, Ussie (Larry) Potter of Lexington, KY and Scott (Kim) Ross of Lexington, KY; brothers-in-law, James W. (Marie) Crader and Jerry (Nancy) Crader all of Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those who wish may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Schrader Reception Center at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
