Robert Earl Shriner was born January 18th, 1936 and died on September 16th, 2024. He was born the first of 4 brothers in Denver, CO. Bob graduated from North Denver High School where he met his future wife, Ernestine Knemeyer. They would be married for 66 years. Bob and Ernie moved to Cheyenne in 1956. He began selling for Pioneer Printing and Stationery and would eventually become a co-owner with Jake O’Hashi. Bob enjoyed his coworkers at Pioneer Printing and was excited to interact with customers. He also started Action Ads, a promotional products company that he and Ernie ran for 40 years. Bob loved running his businesses and being involved in the community. He was a member of Cheyenne Lions Club and Cheyenne Rotary Club. Bob also enjoyed gardening, reading, and travel. He was a fan of Laramie County Community College and served on the Board of Trustees. He always had a “one-liner” to see if he could make someone smile.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Ernie Shriner. He is survived by his two remaining brothers and their wives Ken (Sandy) Shriner and Ralph (Sandy) Shriner. Bob and Ernie are survived by their children and their spouses: Scott (Rochelle) Shriner, Kent (Kari) Shriner, and Crystal (Ken) Burke, the grandkids and their spouses: Lindsey (Joe), Ian (Amanda), Maddi, Nick (Brianna), Corbin (Tatum), Hunter and Sheyanne and 7 great grandchildren. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
