Roberta Chavez

Roberta Rae Chávez, age 53, of Cheyenne, WY closed her gorgeous eyes to take her rest on March 23,2023.

She was the great love of Lonnie's life and her whole world was Lonnie. She so loved her kids and blessed Lonnie with the best years of their lives. She loved her family and pets deeply.

Her love of life and her huge laugh will be greatly missed. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed joking with her family and friends to have a good laugh together.

Roberta was very driven. She graduated from the University of Arizona with an associates degree in architectural design, she also had associates degrees from IBMC in business management and administration and another in medical billing and coding. She was always seeking to enhance her education.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Crayton Girten, Sr and Rose Marie Jarvis Sanchez; and her brothers, Edward Crayton Girten, Jr and Mark Anthony Girten.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Chávez, her brother, Louis Girten, Sr, her sisters, Josephine "Josie" Girten and Kimmie LaBeau Davis, her three children, Raymond "Corky" Girten, Rosanna Girten, Eduardo Garcia, her two grandchildren, Abeni and Layne, and her beloved pets, MoneyPenny and Charlie.

All her family and friends are cordially invited to attend a memorial of her life followed by a meal and association on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Schrader's Funeral Home.
