Roberta "Bobby" Oldfield

Mrs. Roberta "Bobby" Oldfield, 84, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Bobby was born August 22, 1928, in Barnes, Kansas, a daughter of the late Robert and Marge Dominey. Bobby grew up in Nebraska and moved to Cheyenne where she attended school until her senior year when she moved to Kansas. She married Ernest E. "Barney" Oldfield on December 9, 1950, in Manhattan, Kansas. They returned to Cheyenne and she worked for Mountain Bell in human resources until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the United Medical Auxiliary. Bobby is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Barney. She is survived by her cousins, nephews and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with an interment service at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy in Bobby's memory may be made to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter or the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital.
