Robert "Bob" Joyce

Robert E. "Bob" Joyce, 86, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015. Bob was born on August 17, 1929, in Springfield, Pennsylvania, to Effie (Shelby) Joyce born in Indian Territory, OK, on October 2, 1898, and Edwin Joyce born in Denver, CO, on March 19, 1892. Bob attended Southern Methodist University where he studied engineering. After college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where his favorite assignments included serving as a navigator of C-130 aircraft and on his off time, car racing in France. After his military service, he became the owner/operator of Houge Radio and Supply that he owned until his death. Bob enjoyed his family, his home and his life in Cheyenne. Bob is survived by his three daughters, Cecilia, Roberta and Marta who were with him at the time of his passing and miss him dearly. We love you dad. He is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Joyce on July 24, 1991, and his mother, Effie Joyce on July 3, 1985. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, November 20, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.
