Robert "Bob" Quinn

Robert L. "Bob" Quinn, 87, of Cheyenne died December 10, 2016, at his home in Cheyenne, WY. He was born February 17, 1929, in Kansas City, MO to Lester and Jessie Tobin Quinn. Bob married Beverly Davidson on February 12, 1954, in Kansas City, MO. He served in the US Army twice straight out of high school and then during the Korean Conflict as a Staff Sgt. He was a sales manager for True Temper Corporation, where he retired in 1991 while living in Strongsville, OH. He was an active member of St. Mary's Cathedral. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1953 from Central Missouri University. His interests included fishing, camping and gardening. Family fishing trips were eagerly anticipated events for the Quinn Family. His family was his number one interest. He is survived by his children, Timothy (Sunrise) Quinn of Homer, AK, Kathleen (Tony) Friel of Anchorage, AK, Colleen (Mike Swett) Quinn of Cheyenne, WY, and Kevin (Cheri) Quinn of Anchorage, AK; grandchildren, Kristin Quinn, Keli Quinn, Molly Johnson, Megan Torluccio, Mikayla Benson, Caitlin Quinn, Alyssa Quinn; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents, Lester and Jessie Quinn; and a sister, Jessie Nichols A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Mary's Cathedral Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. with burial and military honors to follow in Olivet Cemetery.
