Mr. Robert "Bob" Lee Taylor, 80, of Burns, Wyoming, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Bob was born May 27, 1930, in Burns, a son of Fred. N.and Margaret (Higday) Taylor. Bob enlisted in the United State Air Force and served honorably during the Korean War. He later served in the Wyoming Air National Guard. He enjoyed flying and he enjoyed his career at Gillette Aviation as a chief pilot. His many interests included riding motorcycles, tending to his horses, collecting guns and serving as a member of American Legion Post #6, Cheyenne. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, JoAnn (Lemaster) Taylor of Burns; two daughters, Linda Marie Taylor and Dawn J. Tipton, both of Casper, WY; a grandson, Ryan L. Taylor of Casper; three step-sons, David Lemaster of Burns, Robert Lemaster of Albin, WY, and Douglas Lemaster of Caprenter, WY; a step-daughter, Kathleen Berryman of Douglas, WY; eleven step-grandchildren; and twelve ste-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Emma Jean (Thomson) Taylor; a son, Robert Scott Taylor; and a brother, Ray H. Taylor. Cremation will take place under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. His family will hold graveside services in Casper at a later date.
