Rolf Max Algermissen

Rolf Max Algermissen 81, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away on November 3, 2022 in Cheyenne.

Rolf was born May 9, 1941 in Rossing, Germany to Julius and Ilse Algermissen.

Rolf was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country in the US Army for 21 years. After serving his country, he worked for the Bureau of Land Management for another 20 years. Rolf also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed volunteering for the VA as well as Meals on Wheels.

Rolf is survived by his wife, Christl Algermissen of Cheyenne; daughter, Cathy Kissack of Cheyenne; two grandchildren, Allen Kissack of Chadron, Nebraska and Jessica (Sam) Cheramine of Lodgepole, Nebraska; and sister, Inge (Jim) Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Rolf was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Ilse.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
