Ronald E (Stoney) Geist, 80 of Cheyenne, passed away on Friday, October 7th at the Davis Hospice Center. Born May 28, 1936, the eldest of five children to Edward and Irene (Webster) Geist in Denver, CO. After graduating Denver West High School in 1955, Stoney served in the Air National Guard for 8 years in Colorado and Wyoming. He was a bus driver for Greyhound in Cheyenne for 28 years. Stoney is preceded in death by his long time companion, Carrie Morris; brother, Kenneth Geist; sisters, Janice Lovato and Linda Blair. Survived by daughters, Laura Janssen (Jim) of Sible,y IA, Lisa Seeley (Scott) of Greeley, CO and Peggy Jones of Elko, NV; six grandchildren; Kristen Dubbelde, Eric and Erin Seeley, Joseph, Jennifer and Jaden Morris; brother, David Geist; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, October 13, at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the Schrader Reception Center.
