Ronald Howard Pulse

Ronald Howard Pulse, Sr. of Cheyenne, passed away on April 6, 2023. He was born to Herschel and Edith (Howerton) Pulse on May 29, 1928 in Plevna, MO, graduated from high school in Novelty, MO in 1946, and married Mary Ann (Kramer) Pulse from Ft. Madison, IA on July 23, 1949. They had four children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and were together for 70 years. He was 53 days shy of 95 when he died from advanced dementia.

Ronald was a hard-working, honorable man. He often times put his occupation first but when one is in a job that serves and protects the community, it’s hard not to. He let us all know he loved us in his own way, though. He provided a good home where we were a cohesive family; eating meals together, watching TV, going on vacations to see relatives, going to school functions, and taking us to church. He made some really close friends and helped a lot of people. He was so creative, always tinkering, making things like leather-tooled belts and silver rings. He made up songs and told stories, drew funny pictures and delighted in his grand and great-grand kids. He collected things like coins, watches, and knives and was generous to a fault. These are the things we will remember.

Ronald is survived by his son Ronald H Pulse, Jr {gd} Ronda (Andy Cockle)—Josephine and Esme, {gd} Rachelle (Matthew Proctor)—Dylaney, {gs} Grant (Levia Abraham); his daughter Paula Sue Pulse {gd} Nicole (Mike Skibinski)—Alex and Abby, {gd} Andrea Tompkins—Malana, Sophia, and Bailee; his daughter Linda Ann Pulse {gs} Neal [in heaven], {gd} Tanya (Dennis Scholl)—Jacob.]; and his daughter Patricia Jo (Jay Hiddinga—{gd} Jaime Hiddinga, {gd} Allison (Jose Padron)—Rafael and Aurelia, and {gd} Erika Hiddinga.
