Rose Cordova

Rose C. Cordova, 89, of Cheyenne died January 2, 2016, at Davis Hospice Center. She was born January 16, 1926, in Colmer, New Mexico to Laudente and Maria Quintana. She married Antonio Cordova on August 18, 1943. She cooked for DePaul Hospital, Goodwill Living Skill Center and the Airport Golf Club. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Foster Grandparents at Stride Learning Center. She is survived by children, Rita Rude of Redlands, CA, Martin Cordova, Monica Cordova , Dennis Cordova of Cheyenne, and Stephen Cordova of Rawlins, WY; siblings, Laudente Quintana and Viola Gonzales of Wagon Mound, NM; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Antonio Cordova; children, Anthony Cordova, Claudia Wilson, Barbara Jacoby, Lucille Cordova, Marie Cordova and Theresa Glidewell; siblings, Carmen Atencio, Adelia Trujillo, Celia LeDoux and Elsie Auldridge; and two grandchildren. Those who wish may contribute to the Davis Hospice Center. Visitation is Thursday, January 7, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a Vigil for the Deceased at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy is 10:0 a.m. Friday, january 8, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
