Roy Tibbetts, III

Roy W. Tibbetts, III, 75 of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Sunday October 27, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Roy was born February 11, 1944 in Cheyenne, a son of the late Roy W. and Louise (Benson) Tibbetts, Jr. Roy worked as a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad for 47 years. He held various Union Offices during that time, primarily as Chairman for Local 446 for 32 years. He loved the outdoors and the Colorado Rockies. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Roy is survived by his wife, Darlene; two children, LaDawn Freeman and Danton (Kara) Tibbetts; and three grandchildren, Jacob, Blythe and Watsyn. Seven siblings, Susie, Saundra, Charles, Sheila, Sally, Sharon and Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert. A memory service will be celebrated on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home with a reception to immediately follow at the Schrader Reception Center. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
