Scott Alan Brugger, 56, of Cheyenne passed away on September 27 at Davis Hospice Center. Scott was born November 16, 1955 in Viborg, SD and was the youngest child of Virgil and Avis Brugger. He grew up in Centerville, SD and while in school he participated in activities such as choir, football, basketball, golf, and track. Scott graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and spent 20 years in banking. He married Sharon K. Johnson on September 2, 1978 in Beresford, SD. They spent their first eight years together in Vermillion, SD followed by moves to Gillette, WY, Casper, WY, Billings, MT, and finally Cheyenne in 1994. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for the past 15 years as a mail carrier. Scott was a member of Cheyenne Hills Church of Cheyenne and a follower of Jesus Christ. He was involved in youth baseball for 16 years. He also enjoyed golfing and being a soccer and swimming/diving dad. Scott is survived in death by his wife of 34 years, Sharon of Cheyenne; four children, Tim and his wife Angela of Sheridan, Aaron and Lindsay of Laramie, and Cailin of Cheyenne; and one granddaughter, Madison (daughter of Tim and Angela). He is also survived by both parents Virgil and Avis Brugger and two brothers Keith Brugger and Kent Brugger, all from Rapid City, SD.
