Sharon L. Klahn, 78, passed away on February 9, 2018 in Cheyenne Wyoming. Sharon was born December 11, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa. Sharon was wed to Homer Klahn on August 1st, 1967. Sharon was a people person and never met a stranger. She worked numerous jobs interacting with the public and making new friends along her path. Sharon had many loves, although fishing, gold prospecting, Miniature Dachshunds, and watching Broncos and Avalanche games were among her favorites. Sharon is survived by her spouse Homer, five children: Debbie (Ben) Chambers, Tammy (Bruce) Downing, Doug (April) Klahn, John (Sarah) Klahn, and Steve (Alma) Klahn; eleven grandchildren: Melody, Megan, Adam, Amanda, Tiana, Kaitlyn, Matteson, Cassidy, Nicholas, Sierra, and Agatha; six great-grandchildren, her twin sister Charlotte and younger sister Shirley. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Anita and Lester, sisters Jean and Gweneta, and brothers Gary and Michael. Services will be held at Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral Home Tuesday February 20th. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm with Reverend Delbert Hansen officiating. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow service at the American Legion, 2001 E. Lincolnway.
