Sharon Thornton

Sharon A. Thornton, 82, of Cheyenne passed away January 19, 2018 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born November 21, 1935 in Junction City, KS to William and Maxine Ray. She married Gerald Thornton on July 26, 1953 in Junction City. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She is survived by her children, Debra Thornton of Gillette, WY and Michael Thornton of Dayton, OH; brothers, Gary Sparks of Cheyenne and William Ray of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Nathaniel Thornton, Stacy Knudsen and Sharon Graham; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband and parents. Donations may be made to Davis Hospice Center, American Cancer Society or Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Visitation will be Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church.
