Sheila Marie Gafford, 69, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away at her home on Friday morning, April 1, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Sheila was born September 19, 1946, in Hays, Kansas, a daughter of Gerald and Isla (Joy) Morton. Sheila worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell and later retired from AT&T following 30 years of faithful service. She will be remembered as a loving, family oriented person who loved spending time with her family and for her special relationship with Jesus Christ. Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Gafford of Cheyenne; four children, Tammy Gafford of Cheyenne, Michele Gautreau and husband, Greg, of Cheyenne, Belinda Brown and husband, Sidney, of Greeley, CO, and Brian Gafford and wife, Karen, of Maricopa, AZ; her parents, Gerald and Isla Morton of Casper, WY; three siblings, Garry Morton, Tony Morton and Joy Grapes and husband, Brad; eight grandchildren, Taylor Gautreau, Tyler Gautreau, Brianna Gautreau, Olivia Gafford, Micheal Brown, Cody Brown, Hunter Brown and Cooper Gafford; and one great-grandson, Brody Gafford. A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jason King officiating. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sheila M.
