Shelly Gutierrez

Shelly Ruth Loos Gutierrez, 40, of Cheyenne died March 29, 2016 in Cheyenne. Shelly was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved gardening, animals, Elvis and devoted her life to caring for her family. Shelly could give the best hugs and anyone who knew her was touched by her genuine spirit and unconditional love. She was born June 19, 1975 in Cheyenne to Orin and Shirley Loos. She married Patrick Gutierrez on December 16, 2005 in Cheyenne, and was a homemaker and census representative. She was a member of First Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Gutierrez of Cheyenne; sons, Colton Gutierrez and Tommy Loos of Cheyenne; parents, Shirley Loos of Cheyenne and Orin and Joyce Loos of Cheyenne; brother, John and Cindy Loos of Cheyenne; step-daughters, Tiffany and Caitlin Gutierrez of Phoenix, AZ; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Connie Gutierrez; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Andy W. and Tammy Gutierrez; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Al and Ruth Loos, and Peggy White and Henry Krening. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 8th at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
