Shirley Granneman

Mrs. Shirley M. Granneman, 78, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Granneman was born September 7, 1936, in Covington, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Malcolm G. and Marie (Smith) Sharp. Shirley worked as an optician and later as a homemaker, caring for her children and home. She enjoyed going to the beach in Galveston, but fell in love with Wyoming, having moved from Texas two years ago to reside with her son. She loved a good saddlebred horse and was happiest when she would attend a good horse show. She will be remembered as a very loyal friend and a wonderful mother. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Charles E. Granneman. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home.
